Jose Medrano
Jose Medrano brings over 25 years of experience in public service, government relations and advocacy at the city, county and state levels. With a deep understanding of government affairs, public policy, and strategic relationships, Jose’s expertise lies in navigating complex governmental systems and delivering actionable solutions for clients across both the public and private sectors. He was ranked 14th in Capitol Inside’s “Rising Stars” lobbyist rankings, a recognition of his influence and impact in Texas public affairs.
Jose’s experience includes serving as the Director of External Affairs for the Office of The Harris County Commissioner Adrian Garcia. Prior he was Director of Budget, Purchasing, and IT for Harris County Precinct 2. In this role he oversaw significant operational functions and helped streamline processes for the county’s financial and technological operations. Jose also has served as a Legislative Assistant for State Representatives Jessica Farrar (District 148) and Garnet Coleman (District 147).
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Jose is actively engaged in his community. He has served on several boards, including the Gulf Coast Rail District, where he contributed to transportation policy initiatives, and Precinct2gether, Inc., where he held the role of Treasurer. He also served as a Board Member for the Houston Association of Realtors Government Affairs Committee.
Jose earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing from the University of Houston and holds an insurance and real estate license.
